Sources of Information
The information in the Guide is taken from questionnaires sent to candidates in contested races by the League of Women Voters. This guide has been prepared by the Lehigh County and Northampton County League of Women Voters. Portions (state judges) have been prepared by the League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania.
This material may not be altered or reprinted without the permission of the League. It may be printed out and taken into the polling booth.
This guide does not list all positions on the ballot.
Ballot Order
Candidates are listed in the order
in which they appear on the official ballot of each county. The party of the current Governor of Pennsylvania appears
first.
Write-in Voting
You may write in the name of a
candidate who is not on the ballot for any position on the
ballot. To do so on an electronic voting machine, type in the name of your candidate
on the page that has the names of candidates who are on the official ballot for that
race. The prompts are easy to understand.
Who may vote
All
registered voters may vote for candidates of any party and for any ballot questions
in the November Election.
